It is very effective if the underlying dysfunction is neurological or muscle tension-related.<br>Pelvic floor muscle training involves training the Kegel muscles. Tightening and relaxing them properly rebuilds tension and strengthens weakened pelvic floor muscles, which have a direct effect on urinary continence. Doing the exercises correctly is vital, as incorrect patterns can have the opposite effect.
