The effects of walruses on the body

Like walrushing does it affect the human body? Initially, when immersed in cold water, there is ischaemia, which manifests itself as a constriction of the blood vessels, resulting in the skin becoming paler. At the same time, the body tries to conserve as much heat as possible and therefore restricts blood flow through the skin. Only later does the body temperature drop. Arterial and venous pressure then increases.

After about 3-5 minutes, the blood vessels dilate again to bring about an improvement in the blood supply to the skin. At this point, a marked reddening can be observed. In addition, the arterial and venous blood pressure drops and the blood vessels become tighter.
